Mit VulnDex werden Erkennungen aus CVE-Watchlists, dem SBOM-Monitoring oder aus eigenen Scans direkt den betroffenen Teams in der Hochschule zugeordnet. Das zentrale Security-Team erhält eine durchgängige Übersicht über Bewertungen und Bearbeitungsstände in Forschung, Lehre und Verwaltung.
Self-managing teams & the big picture
Autonomous IT teams can organize their own areas in a structured manner and manage them independently. At the same time, the central security team has a university-wide overview of all assessments and their current status. Access is granted via single sign-on with role-based permissions within the platform.
Shared data hub
Autonome Teams können zusätzlich selbstständig CVE-Watchlists konfigurieren, SBOM-Dateien importieren, Beacons ausrollen oder Erkennungen aus eigenen Schwachstellenscans hochladen. Alle Beteiligten arbeiten auf einer gemeinsamen Datenbasis. Das zentrale Security-Team kann mit Informationen aus der Vulnerability Intelligence hochschulweite Prioritäten identifizieren.
Automatic assignment
Based on the teams and structures shown, new detections can be automatically assigned to the correct teams. This reduces the need for manual coordination and research, and enables a more efficient use of resources.

With their autonomous teams, universities often have a large number of IT systems that are accessible to the public. The structured mapping of their digital footprint provides a university-wide overview of the areas at risk.
