Nosque ≫ Msgcore

Super Mail Transfer Package (SMTP), later called MsgCore, has a memory leak which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by repeating multiple HELO, MAIL FROM, RCPT TO, and DATA commands in the same session.

Nosque MsgCore 2.14 stores passwords in cleartext: (1) the administrator password in the AdmPasswd registry key, and (2) user passwords in the Userbase.dbf data file, which could allow local users to gain privileges.
