VICIdial Unauthenticated SQL Injection

An unauthenticated attacker can leverage a time-based SQL injection vulnerability in VICIdial to enumerate database records. By default, VICIdial stores plaintext credentials within the database.

CWE-89 Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')

The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
