LoginRevisor Video Management System (VMS) before 2.0.0 has a directory traversal vulnerability. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to traverse the file system to access files or directories that are outside of restricted directory on the remote server. This could lead to the disclosure of sensitive data on the vulnerable server.

The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
