LoginMultiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in Phpclanwebsite (aka PCW) 1.23.3 Fix Pack 5 and earlier, when magic_quotes_gpc is disabled and register_globals is enabled, allow remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the (1) boxname parameter to theme/superchrome/box.php and the (2) theme parameter to phpclanwebsite/footer.php.

The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
