LoginDirectory traversal vulnerability in the mwGetLocalFileName function in http.c in MiniWeb HTTP Server 0.8.19 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files and list arbitrary directories via a (1) .%2e (partially encoded dot dot) or (2) %2e%2e (encoded dot dot) in the URI.

The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
